Thankful Thursday

Yeesh, that week went fast! Seriously! I am trying to hang on to summer with everything I've got, but it's slipping away like my sanity when I'm trying to put skinny jeans onto my two year old (they look adorable, but are the worst!).

I have noticed that I complain a lot throughout my days. I really annoy myself with it, and everyone around me I'm sure. Maybe I should do Thankful Thursday everyday! LOL

Until that time, here's what I'm thankful for this week:

1. Every day that it stays summer. It's been a pretty chilly summer, but still....there's not 5 feet of snow on the ground, and I'm thankful for that.

2. Our recent living arrangement. Daniel's Aunt and Uncle are still living in their holiday trailer in our yard. They are moving on soon, and I find myself not wanting them to go! I kind of want to build them a house on our land so we can continue our recent habits...like coffee every morning and cooking together every night. They are pretty awesome!

3. The dry weather! Yes it means our driveway is less muddy, but more importantly it means that our friends who have been trying all summer to bale their hay stand a fighting chance. Bale your hay friends, while you still can!!!

4. My extremely hard working husband. Every mom jokes about "banking" sleep and how they would love to but it can't be done. Well...I'm pretty sure Daniel can do it!

5. Kittens to cuddle.

7. That Addison and Tegan are old enough to clear the table and help with dishes! Note to self: make them do it more often :)

8. The opportunity to write a monthly article for the Tumbler Ridge newspaper...even though writer's block tries to stop me every single time! Speaking of which...I should get back to that :)

9. My friend Lindsay who is very sympathetic to the fact that I can't keep plants alive and lets me pick vegetables out of her garden. She says she plants extra because she likes to share. It's a win-win. 

10. Unexpected visits with my mom. It was great to see you tonight mom! I love you!
