And Then My Heart Smiled

Yesterday, I was drinking a Pepsi. Danica and Myka had just finished their juice, and when Danica saw me drinking it, she asked for some. I poured the last little bit into her cup...Myka wasn't paying attention at this point.

Danica did notice, however, that only she had some, so she said, "myka have some mom?"

"Sorry, Danica, I put the rest in your cup! It's all gone!"

And then, she walked over to myka, who still hadn't noticed, grabbed her cup, and poured some of hers into myka's cup! "Here you go myka!" She said. 

I almost teared up :) she had no obligation to share...and she ended up with about a tablespoon of pop after all was said and done. These girls have plenty of rough sister moments. They fight over toys and games, bite and pull each other's hair. Then they have a moment like this, where I see just how important they are to each other. 

I LOVE these girls so much. So much.
