The Cookbook


Here's a few things you should know right up front before you go searching through my cookbook...
I feed 6 people on a regular basis, and it's hard to please them all.

I am NOT a "fancy" cook. I like my meals easy, quick, and affordable. Also, I like easy meals.

We are not paleo, gluten free, sugar free, dairy free, vegan or vegetarian. Not all of my meals are adapted to be super healthy, although I'm sure most could be.

The above being said, I try to feed my family food that is good for them, will fuel their bodies well, and will help them grow. We eat a ton of fruits and veggies, and have recently discovered that smoothies are a very efficient and fun way to pack the kids full of them :)

We acquired an entire beef in October, so many MANY of my recipes use beef. Sometimes I use chicken or fish, but since we have the beef I hate to buy other meat. If we get tired of beef, I'll often just make a meat free meal instead :)

I am a sucker for two things: meals that take less than 30 minutes, and crock pot meals!

Some of these recipes can be found other places online, since that's where I found them. Sometimes I adapt them to better fit our family, and that's what I post here...my version.
