I can't believe I haven't written here since last Thursday! Oh well, I guess some weeks are like that, hey? Also, I've been busy this week...The sister in law I talked about in last week's post had her baby Saturday morning, and I was busy snuggling a newborn for the next couple days :)
What I'm thankful for this week:
1. The snow that has melted. It has been such a long, long, stupidly long winter...and I am very grateful for spring to start getting underway!
2. That the roads are dry enough for me to run outside again! The treadmill is great for keeping in shape over winter, but lets face it, they are also incredibly boring.
3. That my new niece made it safely into the world. Angela is a trooper, and handled it all amazingly! Veronica arrived early Saturday morning, and I can't express how very thankful I am that I was down there to meet her :)
4. For a safe trip to and from Calgary last week :)
5. That I got to meet my newest nephew, Devin, while I was in Calgary. He was born TWO DAYS after I left in January, and this was my first opportunity to meet him. He loved me, and fell asleep in my arms every time I held him :)
6. That my sister Dakota can come visit this week. We have spent the last couple evenings watching as much Big Bang Theory as we possibly can, and are having a great time doing it!
7. That I found two sundresses in Calgary that looked good on me and fit....in a size SMALLER than I have been wearing! Woohoo, thank you Jillian Michaels!
8. Flip flops
9. That my friend Candace understands me, and is just as quirky as me in some ways. She's that friend who, when we are hanging out, we think...."if anyone else knew what we were talking about right now, they would think we were so weird!"
10. That the kids can start playing outside for longer periods of time now. Cabin fever has been kicking in hard, and I'm very thankful that they can go out now :)
Have a great week everyone :) I hope we all get some more sunshine this week!
I'm so glad you were here :) your an amazing friend (and sis n law) and a huge help!!
