Thankful Thursday

So, this week I drove down to carstairs to be near my sis in law during the last week or so of her pregnancy. We are really good friends as well as being related and I'm excited to be here with her...we can relax together, eat whatever she is craving, and the girls keep her one year old busy so she can sit more often! It's been a great week so far...I don't want to go home :) and, I don't usually want babies to be born early, I believe they will come when they are ready, but this little baby is challenging that for me. Her due date isn't until Monday, but I have to leave Sunday and would LOVE to meet my little niece or nephew before I go! So...maybe :)
Either way, we have had fun, and here's some things I am thankful for:

1. That it worked out to come down. I babysit 4 days a week and when I takes to my friend about maybe taking the week off, she just happened to be doing the same to I to her mom's house! Perfect!

2. That we came in time for the girls to spend some time with their Grandpa before he had to leave again.

3. The pedicure we got today :)

4. That I got to meet my nephew devin. He was born 2 days after I left here in January (my other sister in law's baby), and I regretted not getting to meet him, but he was worth the wait...he's adorable!

5. That Angela introduced me to Cora, the breakfast restaurant. Yum!

6. For my friend Gail, who was willing to babysit on short notice yesterday!

7. That my Grandpa's surgery went well.

8. Naps. Sweet, sweet naps.

9. That my girls get to enjoy tea parties with their great grandparents. They are so incredibly special!

10. That Angela's baby is healthy and will be here soon. We are good enough friends that I am feeling all of the same emotions I feel at the end of my pregnancies...and I'm so glad to be here with her!
