Saturday Night Confessions

After the business of the week, there is something wonderful about a lazy Saturday at home, don't you think? Actually, if you're name is Addison, it's "boring", but for the rest of us, the relaxation of not having to go anywhere is nice.
Unfortunately Daniel had to work, but the girls and I made the best of the day. It included a refreshing and wonderful visit with  my friend Bekka and her husband!

Anyways, here's my confessions for the day....in case you were wondering.


Saturday night confessions:

#1: I ran 2 miles today, but then pretty much cancelled it out with 3 fresh chocolate chip cookies.

#2: I spent 15 minutes getting the kids all bundled up to go outside and play so that I could have as much time as possible to sit quietly and eat a snack (popcorn, yum!). I got 6 minutes of sweet silence before Danica came to the door crying because she had taken her gloves off.

#3: In another attempt at silence, I surrendered both my laptop and my iPhone to the kids for about half an hour so I could lay down. I'm sorry if anyone got any really weird texts from me during this time.

#4. I know a secret about someone else and can NOT wait until they share it with the Facebook world so I can shout out my excitement to the world :) It may or may not be what you think :)

#5. Danica, if this blog has achieved it's goal, you will be reading it as a 16 year old as a way to look back on your fond childhood memories. If this is the case (which I hope it is!!) I just want to take this opportunity to let you know that you pooped in the tub tonight. Even better...it was so full of bubbles that when I reached in to let out the water I touched the poo with my bare hands. Thank you for keeping motherhood an adventure.
