Ah, life with little children. It's never boring, am I right? Since school started we have been trying to get back into the swing of things, put a schedule in place and basically lead a more organized life. Haha.
Here's a little of what's been going on lately.
First, I've had so many Dr. appointments in GP that the organization thing has not improved yet. But when it does, NOTHING will stop me. I will be superwoman.
Last weekend Daniel's sister brought her husband and son up to visit for a few days. It was so nice to see them, and the girls loved playing with their cousin Emett!
When they left, they took Tegan for her "week alone" at Grandma's because she hadn't gotten one this summer, like Addison did. So now Tegan has been gone for 5 days, and I'm ready for her to come home :( So I called her last night, assuming she would feel the same. "Are you ready to come home baby?" I asked. "NOPE." Was the response I got. She's having so much fun, I'm not sure if she'll ever want to come home!
Last week Daniel's boss hosted a company BBQ. It was awesome. Good food and lots of fun for the kids...including an ice cream sundae bar!
Daniel's boss also gave each of the children a very generous gift card to Wal-mart. It was so nice of him :) And here is what Tegan and Danica bought with theirs. Addison and Tegan are still carefully deliberating over what they would like :)
Daniel bought my birthday present early this year, and set it up for me! I feel REALLY spoiled :)
Yesterday I found these super pretty red leaves in our yard and thought it would be nice if the younger girls posed in front of them for a nice picture. No such luck. This one is ok, but it is by far the nicest!
I'll try again soon....preferably with all four this time!
I don't know what's going on, but the random messes seem to be growing like a mountain lately! Why are the kids trying to drive me insane? Why?
I have even said the phrase "NO Polysporin!!" when I saw this scene: Myka and Danica sitting shirtless ON my kitchen table, spreading polysporin on each other's arms. Lovely.
And that's been life! And it has been good :)
How have YOU been lately?

When I see stuff like this it definitely makes my life feel a little more normal...we're all in it together! So glad to get caught up on your life with photos... Oh yeah, I'm doing good, thanks for asking...looking forward to catching up more! Love ya!
