Banana Pumpkin Spice Muffins

Mmmmm, Autumn! My absolute favourite time of year! Hot chocolate, chunky sweaters, cool air, crisp leaves, canning the harvest from the garden, and the kids going back to school...SO many things to love!

For the first time this year, my house even smells like autumn today, as I have my favourite muffins baking in the oven :)

A friend gave me this recipe a few years ago, and I have not made another banana muffin recipe since! Although I have tweaked it a little here and there.

Would you like the recipe? Ok, here it is! I promise you will not regret making them :)

Banana Pumpkin Spice Muffins:

1 Cup Butter
2 Cups Sugar
4 Well beaten Eggs
3  Large Mashed Bananas
2 1/2 Cups Flour
1 tsp Salt
2 tsp Baking Soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp  allspice
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (optional)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together wet ingredients well. Add dry ingredients, stir until just moist...then stir in the chocolate chips and/or walnuts. Pour into muffin tins, bake for 14-16 minutes, depending on the size of the muffins.

Enjoy!

In today's recipe I added both the chocolate and the

walnuts and they are to die for!
