What an amazing week! At some points it was warm enough to play outside, and other days were so cold that the busses didn't even run for school. We did everything from teaching Myka how to skate to staying inside cooking stew and making cinnamon buns. As much fun as Maui was, there are lots of thing to appreciate about winter up here in the Great White North!
**Oh, and I did write this post yesterday, then got distracted and didn't hit publish!! Oops!
1. That my sister could come visit...I've missed her since she moved out at Christmas!
2. That the weather warmed up again! Woohoo!
3. A date night with Daniel...and movie theatre popcorn :)
4. Long morning phone conversations with my sister in law!
5. Getting to spend lots of time with my new friend Candace!
6. Getting to make some decisions about decorating our new house...I CAN'T wait to move in :)
7. The free fabric that I got with my regular order. I almost have enough to do the entire back of a quilt...for free!
8. New tires on my van.
9. Sweet notes from friends that make my day. I have been brought to tears a couple of times this week by the kind words of a friend!
10. Getting to spend time playing outside with my girls. This week Daniel had to work most of the time, but the girls and I got to go sledding and skating! It was so fun :)
