Waving The White Flag

Do you ever have "one of those days"? I shouldn't even ask, because I know you do....those days when everything has piled up, despite your best efforts to stay on top of things. Like, where did all this laundry come from? And why did the one year old need to dump corn all over the table and floor right after I washed it all this morning? And WHY WON'T THEY NAP?!?

Today is that day for me. I feel down. There are things weighing on my heart that I don't want to make public on my blog, but in the physical world,  I see these things that need to be done...I know I would feel better if I did them, and yet all I want to do is crawl under my covers and wave the white flag. I'll re-emerge tomorrow...preferrably after the cleaning fairy has transformed my house into an organized, relaxing haven!


This song encourages me in times like this...although today I may need to replay it a few times!
