Thankful Thursday...and the 6th Day.

Today's thankful Thursday is dedicated to two people who blessed my week :) I am so lucky to have such amazing friends, and these two managed to melt my heart a little bit this week.

The first is my little sister Dakota. She's 8 years younger than me, so we didn't have a ton in common while we were growing up. Now that we're both adults, however, things have changed. I love the fun that she adds to my life, and she loves hanging out at my house on her days off and chillin' with my kidneys* :p

Here is 10 things I'm thankful for about Dakota:

1. That she enjoys spending time with me on her days off.

2. That she walked around the GP mall with all four of my girls a couple of weeks ago just so I could buy jeans kid-free

3. That she enjoys Subway as much as I do.

4. That we enjoy the same shows :)

5. That she's such an awesome aunt to my girls!

6. That she's always willing to give me, her frumpy mom sister, awesome fashion advice. I totally need it.

7. That she loves doing my makeup. Again, totally necessary :)

8. That she works at the Keg. I'm SO thankful for this. Never stop working at the Keg Dakota! LOL

9. That she's my sister :)

10. That she's so awesome with words. When I'm stricken with writer's block and not sure how to say something, she saves the day!

The second is my friend Angela. We met almost 2 years ago and have become really good friends since. She's one of the most honestly sweet people I have ever known...just today she dropped by unexpectedly with a coffee from Timmy's. I am so lucky to have a friend like her!

Here's the top 10 things I'm thankful for about Angela:

1. That she lives close to me....it makes it so much easier to get together for coffee!

2. That she goes to Zumba with me!

3. That she always sounds happy that I called her.

4. That she loves chatting all morning as much as I do :)

5. That she unexpectedly drops by with coffee. She is my first friend to ever do that!

6. That she does the most amazingly sweet things. For example, last year on my birthday, she invited me over for a beautiful homemade lunch, complete with a cake and a bouquet of flowers...just for me!

7. That she's always there to listen when I need a shoulder to cry on

8. That she has such a great sense of humor, and can always cheer me up!

9. That she always points out the good in people, even when it would be easy not to.

10. That she's my friend :)

I love you Angela and Dakota!
