Myka, when you were four months old, you started choosing your thumb over the soother. Then one day, Grandma Jerrilyn came to visit, and while she was holding you, you grabbed a handful of her hair, and started sucking your thumb with her hair in your fist. We thought it was the cutest thing ever!
Being a busy mom of three, I always had my hair in a ponytail, so you couldn't use my hair. However, I did notice that anytime a fluffy blanket was around, you would pick the fluff off and suck your thumb. As you got older, it became more of an issue when you started ripping out your sisters' hair to hold in your hand while you sucked your thumb!
Then, a few months ago, my friend Cindy gave us a box of hand me down clothes. Well, when you saw this crocheted poncho, you were in LOVE. You where it over every outfit, and over your pajamas to go to bed. It's always there for you, full of fluff for you to pull off and hold. You are so cute, Myka with your poncho :)

ReplyDeleteCorban sucks his thumb too. He used to grab things to suck his thumb with too. But when he was about 9months old he found mickey mouse and uses his tail to hold and sucks his thumb. Sounds crazy but he won't go to bed without Mickey and his thumb.
