Thankful Thursday

T
his week I am thankful for:

1. Our wood stove. There is nothing better than snuggling up in the chair next to it with a cup of coffee on a chilly day.

2. That we could have family over for supper this week. It was a good day :)

3. That once a year, we get to enjoy the awesome colours that are decorating the world right now. I love fall!

4. That my mom and Grandma were able to help my Grandpa so much last week. They drove all the way to Saskatchewan to help him get set up in his new apartment and make sure that he has the help he needs all the time.

5. Myka's eagerness to learn. Every morning this week, she has asked me to write out the alphabet so that she can trace the letters...then she organizes each sheet into a binder. She's so proud of it, and I'm so proud of her!

6. The progress that Daniel and I have made on the house so far this week. We only really worked on it yesterday...his first day off, but we have almost finished tiling our shower and can paint the bathroom walls soon!

7. Being able to go to the Keg with Dakota and Nathan this week. We love being able to spend time with them...they're pretty fun people!

8. My friend Candace, who is always willing to help if she at all possibly can. Yesterday she watched Myka and Danica so that Daniel and I could work on the house interruption-free. I'm so thankful for that!

9. My super duper inquisitive children. Having questions pelted at me like a machine gun for 10 hours straight every day may make my brain hurt and my eyes water, but I'm still thankful that my girls like to talk to me and are so interested in how things work :)

10. Sleep. Maybe it's because the weather is getting colder, but I have been really tired lately, and when I do sleep, I enjoy it SO much. I know how rare a good night's sleep can be, so I am thankful that I have been getting them...plus some pretty fun, vivid dreams!
