Thankful Thursday

Whew, it has been a crazy week around the Steckly house! There is just something about the sunshine and warm weather that makes a person want to be more productive. The wind could back off any time though :)

Between soccer, tournaments, finishing the house, planning my sister's wedding, and babysitting 4 days a week, there pretty much hasn't been a dull moment. I kind of love it though, which is great because the entire next month is going to be jam packed!

Anyhow, enough about my crazy schedule. In all of this craziness, there is much to be thankful for, am I right?

This week I am thankful for:

1. A sunshine filled soccer tournament. They were long days, yes, but they were fun because I got to be social with friends I don't see often, and The girls had a blast playing!!

2. On Monday I had babysitters or the while day so I could spend it with Dakota shopping for her wedding! It was the best day, mostly because we got to eat Greek  food :)

3. The weather has had it moments, but for the most part has been nice enough that we are outside most of the day.

4. Subway has avocado for the summer months :) 

5. I can run further this week than I could last week!

6. Myka is in the best stage of life lately. She is witty and fun, and obeys better than she has at any other point in her life!

7. The dad that Daniel is to our girls. I just sit and watch them together with the goofiest smile on my face most evenings. We are so blessed. I love out little family so much! Yeah, that got pretty mushy, but I don't even mind :)

8. I got to watch Star Trek 2 with Daniel and Dakota. Before you make fun of me, which many have done already, give it a chance. Seriously. It's good.

9. My lawn is mowed :) I had to do it, but that's ok because it's a job I enjoy for a few reasons: the smell and look of the fresh cut grass, and you can't hear the kids yelling at you for snacks from across the yard. "What?! I can't hear you! Just wait until mommy's done sweetie!" Hehe

10. Bubble baths :) the end.
