Here is an unedited, unashamed picture of our living room today. Notice the flash cards and toys strewn about, the laundry on the couch, along with the sick, whiney two year old, and Friends on the tv trying desperately to keep me sane!
This was life today. My fatigue and whininess was only outmatched by that of my one and two year old daughters. It's so fun trying to get them to nap when they are sick! LOL You know they need sleep, but they just don't agree :D
And to top it all off, there is lice going around the girls' school, and we just happened to find some on them this morning! For the second time this year! Oi.
So, if this was the living room, imagine what the rest of the house looked like, with all of the bedding being washed simultaneously to rid the house of lice!
And then there was the "hair washing party" after supper. My bathroom was tsunami central for about an hour and a half.
*Le sigh*. This too shall pass. Right?
Now, the mess is cleaned up, the kids are in bed (hopefully to stay!), and I am relaxing while I wait for my Buckley's nighttime pill to kick in so I can sleep sniffle free!
And that, my friends, was Friday.
ah this made me smile :) I know a little bit how your feeling - jube had Bronchiolitis this week and our place was a disaster! and i was a disaster!

I'm a new follower.. I just wanted to tell you that you're not alone. My house has been a disaster this week! I'm 7 weeks pregnant, exhausted and morning sickness hit this week.. On top of that I have a 3 year old!
