Three Wishes

Another instalment for the series "30 Things My Kids Should Know About Me"!


Dear Girls:

Aaaah, there are so many angles I could come at this from, but I'm going to have some fun with it :)

If I could have three wishes, what would they be?

1. My dream house.

It would look something like this:



I love cozy, welcoming houses, so I don't want it to be too huge. However, we DO have 5 girls and my dream house will need a few things to accommodate them :) Things like: a HUGE dining room, a nice sized kitchen, a few bathrooms, either 5 bedrooms OR a guesthouse for them to stay in when they are grown and come to visit with their families, and a large deck for fun family summer bbq's! Just for me, in my house I would love a hot tub, a lush yard with lots of flowers (but not big flowerbeds...I prefer pots of flowers), and lots of windows!

2. A vacation home in a tropical place, and the available time to take our family there often :)

3. For Little Lily to grow to a comfortably sized business. Ideally, it would stay a handmade business, but I would love to be able to hire more moms to help me sew. I would love for it to be a name that lots of people recognize when they thing of baby gifts, but for it to stay a "specialty" item type business. I make each towel with care, and I want that feeling of "made with love" to continue to be a unique feature that is sought after when it comes to Little Lily.  Maybe the profit would be enough to buy the vacation home!?
