Ten Child Related Pet Peeves

In the recent present, I have noticed that there are more than a couple things my girls do...or are involved with somehow, that I have to take a deep breath and count to ten to deal with.

Here's the top ten :)

1. When you try to stand your child up, for instance to pull their pants up, and they go all "limp leg" on you. Extra Peeve if they start giggling. My poor arms!

2. Stepping in wet spots on my floor with socks on. With four girls in the house, 2 of which love to have impromptu "tea parties" with their toy teacups, my floor seems to always be wet!

3. Boots in my entry way caked with mud literally minutes after I vacuumed it.

4. The way they treat DVD's, despite many examples of how to properly put them away!

5. The cupboard that the kids dishes are in...you know, when you reach for one plastic cup and they all fall over and come tumbling out on you? Arg.

6. When they mess up my slipcovers.

7. Finding one bite taken out of all the apples in my fridge. Hm, I wonder who did THAT?

8. When I'm unloading or loading the dishwasher and Danica pulls/pushes the racks in and out constantly. Child!! Just leave the racks out so I can finish! LOL

9. When they help fold laundry. Well...the 6 and 7 year old may help, but the other two just knock stuff over :)

10. I usually get the younger two out of the tub, then let the older two bathe second. I close the door, but now that Myka can open it, I have to be watching super close, or they go in and get their clean, dry pi's wet up to the elbows in 5 seconds or less. Major peeve!
