11 Things

I often wonder if posts like this are actually fun for others to read, or just fun for me to write because I get to talk about myself.

Either way, this one looked fun, so I'm going to do it. And you can talk about yourself too! If you don't want to do up an entire blog post, just pick a couple of the questions to answer and leave your answer in the comments. I'd love to get to know you better! Really! 

I'm not really doing number 5....it's open to whoever reads this.

Eleven Random Things About Jade:

1.  I read magazines from back to front.

2.  When I'm driving alone (rare) and Sexyback comes on the radio, I get giddy that the girls aren't with me and I don't have to switch the channel.

3. I haven't read a novel in over three years. It's not a good thing :(

4. Aside from MAC, Covergirl is my favourite makeup. I love their pressed foundation and lip glosses!

5. When I eat crackers and cheese, I crave Pepsi with it...a "leftover" craving from my pregnancy with Danica

6. I don't like to drink coffee alone. I can go days without even thinking about it at home, and when I do want one, my first thought is "who can I invite over for coffee?"

7. Although putting it into practice is a constant daily struggle, even looking at organized things makes me feel peaceful and happy inside! One day I'll get there :)

8. Danica can get into my tupperware cupboard, and empties it multiple times a day. I've thought about locking it up, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Besides, it keeps her entertained....and only takes a minute to clean up!

9. Something I want to do at least once in my life: Go with a friend (or sister in law!) to LA or New York and spend a whole week there, doing girly things that Daniel wouldn't want to do...like window shopping on Rodeo Drive :)

10. I don't love ice cream. I enjoy it occasionally, but don't keep it in the house because I would never eat it.

11. I can't wait until we can move out of this trailer and into our house :D So excited!

1.  Favorite nail color?

For toenails, turquoise...for fingernails, pink

2. Pink or RED lipstick?...or are you a gloss kinda gal?

Pink, but I never wear actual lipstick. I'm totally a gloss girl! 

3. Favorite craft site?

There's so many! I really like Tatertotsandjello!

4. Are you a morning person or a night owl?

A night owl, but I would like to be a morning person eventually. I just need to pick a night actually go to bed early so I can get up early the next morning!

5. Are you really chatty or super quiet? Or maybe somewhere in between??

Ummm...really chatty. But I didn't have to tell you that, did I? LOL

6. What is one thing you want to accomplish this year?

Would like to grow Little Lily Bamboo to the place where I have hired 2 moms to sew about 10-15 hours a week each to help me. Right now I have 2, but I can only offer ten sporadic work.

7. What is your best talent/gift?

Is talking to people a gift? Because that might just be my best one...I think I'm pretty good at "breaking the ice" and getting to know new people.

8. Do you have a tattoo?

Yes. A pair of baby feet on my left hip. I don't think I'd get another though...I like change too much to have things that permanent anywhere, let alone my body!

9. What is one thing you'd like to learn more about?

So many things! I'd love to learn a second language...french probably. I'd also love to be a midwife someday and learn as much as I can to help women with childbirth and breastfeeding.

10. You're alter ego would be a _______.  (think occupation:)

Super hot secret spy.

11. What three people (past or present) would you like to meet?

Donald Trump (for business advice), Zachary Levi (to help me train to be a spy ;)), and ugh, I can't think of anymore! I know there's lots, but I'm totally "put on the spot" right now LOL Update to come later when my brain is working again.
