First Haircut!

Okay, so you may have to look close to tell, but Addison had her very first haircut yesterday!!! There was a chunk that kept falling in her eyes, so I did my best to make her have "bangs"' without making it look like I just chopped it off:) She must have been happy with the results...I had no problem getting her to smile big for the camera afterwards!!

Well Here's a family picture for eveyone. It was taken when Tegan was just a few days old, but it was on Karen's camera...so /i out it up as soon as she sent it to me:)
I also just had to put this one of the girls together, cause Addison is smiling so nice....she really enjoys her liitle sister so far, and as Tegan grows, i hope they just get closer:)

so today Tegan wore the dress that Teresa bought for Addison as a newborn....it looked so cute on her too that I just had to snap some pics...and I decided to get the rest of the family in on it too. Aren't they sweet???

A Week Old!!!

It's going by so fast!! I can't believe our new baby is over a week already! Here are some highlights from our first week together...

Tegan can sleep no matter what's going on around her...she just blocks it all out:)

The sister bond is beginning early! Addison is so good with Tegan already. As soon as Tegan cries, addison says (in her own version) 'Tegan!" and runs over and starts patting her leg or belly.

Welcome baby Tegan!

Well, of all the days for me to have camera trouble, today would have to be it...I am having trouble importing photos of our bundle of joy onto the computer...I'm working on it as fast as I can, but until I can get it to work, all I have is stats, sorry:(

Tegan Lilly Steckly joined us on Saturday morning at 7:45 after 5 and a half hours of labour...she weighed in at 8lb 5oz...almost a full two pounds bigger than her sister:) It was pretty amazing to meet her...she has been wonderful so far, except for the 24 hours of gas that kept her crabby:)

woah woah!!

Okay...THAT is amazing! I can't believe that you all found out about me making a trip to the hospital the other night...all I told was my mom:) Anyway, it's a little embarassing, but it WAS a FALSE ALARM!! I thought that maybe my water had broken, but was pretty sure it hadn't. However, I called maternity anyway just to ask....and of course they were like, "come right in so we can check the baby's heart rate and stuff and depending on how things go, we might keep you here." So we went. The baby was fine...I'm still 2cm dilated (It's officially been a week at 2) and they sent me home. Hey, at least Daniel got his ice cap from Timmy's:)
So now here I am....3 days overdue. I just thought that after having Addison early, I'd see how it felt to go 10 days over like Amber:) I hope not many guys read this, but yessterday the doctor did a membrane sweep to try and get things going. They did for a few hours, but stopped as soon as I went to bed., so now, I go in tomorrow for another one. She said that if I haven't had it by the 11th she'll induce me.
