Vancouver trip!

Okay, so it's been a whole week since we got back, but I'm writing about it now!!!
There is ALOT of pics that I don't have of this trip, but the story is...My friend Melanie and I left our husbancs and kids and took off to Vancouver for four days last week. We had a business reason to go, but man was it FUN!! The first night...fancy dinner and chillin'. The second? Lunch with Tree and Yvonne!!! Then shopping, Oceans 13, more shopping and hanging at a huge casino.The third day was filled with a wonderful workshop and dinner with these fine people: The man and woman sitting next to each other are my sponsor's sponsor, Harry and his wife. The other two are Tom Shrieter and Jerry Clark, the presenters of the workshop.


The fourth day, we ate brunch and flew home. It was so refreshing to get away and AWESOME to see my friends again. Love you guys!!

Wapiti Cabin, Here We Come!

The bad news: My camera battery died shortly into our hike. I managed to get one shot FROM the cabin, but none of the cabin or of my friends.
The good news: I got these three shots, the last one gives you a good idea of our view from the cabin.
We hiked in on Friday morning, and it took 10 hours to get there (it's 19.2 km). We stopped alot for fishing and catching our breath:)
Getting to the cabin was totally worth it. The view was amazing and the weather was good. The mosquitos...not so good. For two days we fished, slept, and cooked over the fire. We also went through a whole tin of coffee!!
On Monday morning, we got out of cam really early and managed to make it back in 6 hours!
