I am Tegan...

Hello and welcome to my first post! My mom is translating because I don't think you grownups would understand my language...it's strictly for my kind...cute and cuddly:)
Anyway, I have been sooo frustrated lately! You know that stage where you are not content to lie around all day, but you can't get your chubby belly off the ground to crawl? Well I am right there, and it sucks. My mom tries to appease me with the jolly jumper, which I have to admit can be fun for awhile, but what I really want to do is CRAWL. My big sister addison has tried to show me how to do it, but I think I look more like a beached whale...if any of you other babies have any advice, let's hear it. My mom says "be patient...you'll crawl when it's time", but with so much to see around me, who has time to wait for that????
Maybe I should take it one step at a time and sit first:(

My Girls

Lately, Addison Has been all about helping me in the kitchen...yesterday we baked cookies and she got to wear her new apron and mitts that she got from aunty Jael. WARNING: these are NOT real oven mitts and it will hurt very much if little girls try to take the cookies out of the oven with them!!!
She stuck to stirring and taste testing the dough.

Tegan is happier than ever lately. She's even been trying to roll over! She's so laid back..happiest in her jolly jumper looking at herself in the mirror or watching Baby Einstien. We love her. She started solids the other day and let me tell you...this kid was BORN for solids. They say you are supposed to start with a tablespoon or two, so I tried, but accidentaly poured to much...she ate EVERY bite! and after the first couple scoops she started opening her mouth like a little bird...she
s crazy!! That reminds me. I don't know if this happened to anyone else's baby, but when we went to solids, she went from one poop a day to like, eighteen....it's ridiculous!!! I'm going to have to win the lottery just to keep up with diapers:)

Tegan update

Well, Tegan seemed to just be getting better and better, but today, she took a turn for the worse. Before noon she threw up eight times so she was in the hospital all day getting the same tests she did two weeks ago! Finally at seven the doctor told us that he figures she has reflux, which is why she had her incident. He figures it has something to do with milk products. Sooo....we are putting her strictly on pedialyte for a few days and she is going to sleep in her carseat so she is upright and hopefully we can get this figured out soon! Thank you for your prayers everyone!!! I'm just glad she can come home and doesn't have to stay in the hospital:)
